Welcome! This webpage was set up by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Dog Warden group. We are all working Dog Wardens and one of our main priorities is to make sure lost dogs are reunited with their owners. A lot of people don't realise that the first point of contact when they lose or find a dog is to contact their District or Borough Council (the same Council that you pay your Council Tax to) and report it to the Dog Warden. We've provided the links to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight District/Borough Councils. You may also wish to discuss dangerous dogs, fouling, excessive noise problems or other doggy issues with your Council Dog Warden. We are always happy to help or, if we can't, to direct you to the right person to deal with your query. The webpage may also contain occasional press releases or articles produced by members of the group on issues surrounding dogs or other related areas of our work. |
